Lo-Cal balancer is a nutrient dense pellet containing all a horse or pony needs for health and well-being but with a minimal carbohydrate (calorie) content. Its quality protein provides the essential amino acids required to build and repair muscle and other tissues, whilst Yea-Sacc ® stimulates fibre digesting bacteria, helping to improve gut efficiency. The superior vitamin and mineral content promotes good health and supports well-being and includes chelated (Bioplex ®) minerals, which are more easily absorbed and utilised by the horse’s body.
Fed by the mug-full, Lo-Cal balancer can be given as the sole concentrate, providing those nutrients lacking in forage, and mixed with a little Baileys Light chaff or Speedi - Beet, if desired, to give good-doers a bit more to chew on. Its low starch (under 10%) and calorie content also make it ideal for those prone to laminitis and it contains excellent levels of biotin, methionine, calcium and zinc to promote healthy hoof growth and repair. For those receiving reduced levels of other compound feeds, Lo-Cal can be added to top up nutrient levels and maintain a balanced diet.

Deliveries placed before 09:30 will usually be delivered same day, providing it is the delivery day to that Parish (as shown below)
Delivery on orders under the value of £30 are charged at a flat rate of £3
Delivery Schedule
(West) Mondays & Thursdays – St John, St Mary, St Lawrence, St Brelade, St Peter & St Ouen.
(East) Tuesday & Fridays – Trinity, St Martin, St Helier, St Saviour, Grouville & St Clement.
Deliveries are usually made on the above days between the hours of 11:00 – 18:00. If you require a specific delivery time, please give details in your ‘Order Notes’ when entering your address. Whilst we cannot guarantee that this will be possible, we will do our very best and notify you accordingly. Alternatively, please give details of a ‘Safe Place’ to leave your order.
Currently we do not make deliveries outside the island of Jersey, however should you have a requirement for this, please Contact Us!
What happens if I’m not in?
When entering your address details as part of the Checkout Process, please add an ‘Order Note,’ this will then give our delivery driver information on where your individual ‘Safe Place’ is (ie. In the garage, at the back door etc) The driver will then deliver your order and leave it in your ‘Safe Place,’ please note that goods left in ‘Safe Place’s are done so at your own risk. Animal Kingdom Ltd will not accept any responsibility for stolen goods, it is the customers responsibility to ensure that their ‘Safe Place’ is suitable and secure.
