Animalintex is the original veterinary poultice and wound dressing, that has been used by countless customers for decades. It is made to a proven formula and manufactured in the UK in a facility that is authorised by the Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD), the UK authority that is responsible for enforcing the safety of veterinary medicinal products.
There are a number of poultices available on the market but only one is licensed by the VMD – Animalintex. This license is very important as the formulation and manufacture need to be strictly controlled as poultices have a pharmaceutical effect on the horse. Animalintex contains Boric Acid BP, an active ingredient which promotes effective healing.
Products having a pharmaceutical effect but not having a license are illegal, not to mention potentially dangerous for your horse. The control is rather like the control of drugs for people. Animalintex by Robinson Animal Healthcare is a well known, respected and trusted product which is licensed and is highly effective.
Unfortunately wounds sometimes become infected. If your horse has a large wound which is infected you should call a vet immediately, particularly if your horse is showing signs of distress. However, a wide range of conditions – including wounds – can be treated using Animalintex. It is ideal for the treatment of:
Infected wounds
Open wounds
Mud fever
Laminitis
Abscesses
Thrush
Seedy Toe
Sprains
Bruises.

Deliveries placed before 09:30 will usually be delivered same day, providing it is the delivery day to that Parish (as shown below)
Delivery on orders under the value of £30 are charged at a flat rate of £3
Delivery Schedule
(West) Mondays & Thursdays – St John, St Mary, St Lawrence, St Brelade, St Peter & St Ouen.
(East) Tuesday & Fridays – Trinity, St Martin, St Helier, St Saviour, Grouville & St Clement.
Deliveries are usually made on the above days between the hours of 11:00 – 18:00. If you require a specific delivery time, please give details in your ‘Order Notes’ when entering your address. Whilst we cannot guarantee that this will be possible, we will do our very best and notify you accordingly. Alternatively, please give details of a ‘Safe Place’ to leave your order.
Currently we do not make deliveries outside the island of Jersey, however should you have a requirement for this, please Contact Us!
What happens if I’m not in?
When entering your address details as part of the Checkout Process, please add an ‘Order Note,’ this will then give our delivery driver information on where your individual ‘Safe Place’ is (ie. In the garage, at the back door etc) The driver will then deliver your order and leave it in your ‘Safe Place,’ please note that goods left in ‘Safe Place’s are done so at your own risk. Animal Kingdom Ltd will not accept any responsibility for stolen goods, it is the customers responsibility to ensure that their ‘Safe Place’ is suitable and secure.
